The Public is Invited to Attend our Perennial Showcase with Kata Kress Wallace at The Garden Center at Johnson Nursery on Saturday, April 1, 2023

The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina is a non-profit botanical garden dedicated to improving lives, cultivating inspiration, offering a variety of experiences, and generating income for the community.

Do you have gardening or landscape design questions that only an expert can answer? Join us on April 1st, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Perennial Showcase with Kata! The Garden Center at Johnson Nursery has partnered with The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina to bring the brilliant Kata Kress Wallace, Regional Product Manager of Walters Gardens, to discuss the latest and greatest perennials from Proven Winners®!

Kress Wallace oversees one of the largest perennial breeding operations in the United States and is an unparalleled source of information and inspiration! She will be presenting Proven Winners®’ EZ Scape™ planting plan, which is a variety of landscape layout ideas that mix perennials in coordinating colors, sizes, and habits to create an enchanting garden! Learn which perennials will thrive in our region, how to care for them and how they work together. The presentation begins at 10:15am and will last until 11:30 a.m. when Kress Wallace will hold a Q&A session. Participants will then have time to explore The Gardens and shop at the Garden Center. Food, alcohol and wine will be available for purchase, as will new and specially-grown perennials.
