Sheriff's Office Makes Arrest in Piney Green Peeping Tom Incident

In late April, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office received its first reports of  a suspected Peeping Tom in the Piney Green area. After deputies investigated the claims, an  arrest was made on Friday. 

On May 16, 2025, deputies arrested Arkie Lee Winston, 36, of Jacksonville without incident.  Winston is charged with misdemeanor secretly peeping into room occupied by female and was  given a $1,000 secured bond. Winston is currently out on bond and awaiting his next court  date.
