Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Seize Deadly Amount of Drugs, Guns in Multi-Agency Investigation

Detectives with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Rocky Point man following a four-month-long investigation into the trafficking and distribution of narcotics throughout Onslow and surrounding counties.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Armien Buzzy Fleming Sr., of 419 Habersham Avenue in Rocky Point (Pender County), was taken into custody following a joint surveillance operation conducted by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), the Pender County Narcotics Unit, and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).
During the operation, detectives observed Fleming leaving his home, and a traffic stop was initiated. Detectives found various narcotics in his possession as a result of the stop.
Following the traffic stop, Fleming consented to a search of his home. Detectives seized a significant quantity of illegal substances and contraband, including:
2,652 grams (5.85 pounds) of fentanyl
4,765 grams (10.51 pounds) of marijuana
336 grams of cocaine
67 grams of crack cocaine
Two firearms (one of which was reported stolen)
Approximately $4,600 in U.S. currency
Fleming has been charged with multiple felony offenses, including:
Trafficking Fentanyl by Possession (2 counts)
Trafficking Fentanyl by Manufacture (2 counts)
Trafficking Fentanyl by Sale (2 counts)
Trafficking Fentanyl by Delivery (2 counts)
Trafficking Fentanyl by Transport (2 counts)
Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver (PWIMSD) Fentanyl (2 counts)
Manufacture of Fentanyl (2 counts)
Fleming was booked into the Onslow County Detention Center under a $1,050,000 secured bond. He made his first court appearance on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
