CFCC Partners with StepUp Wilmington to Offer “Jobs Week” Courses

Cape Fear Community College is partnering with StepUp Wilmington to expand their existing Jobs Week offerings at CFCC. Jobs Week is a series of four-day career preparation courses designed to help participants enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence and essential skills.

Through this collaboration, CFCC will host several 21.5-hour sessions from July through December 2025. Courses will provide targeted guidance on job readiness, interview strategies, resume development, and workforce professionalism.

Participants in the Jobs Week program will also have access to CFCC’s Career Resource Center, where they can explore continuing education and curriculum programs tailored to their goals and interests. In addition, the Career Resource Center provides support in connecting participants with local employers, helping them secure job opportunities quickly.

Each course runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Courses will be offered on several upcoming dates:

·         October 14-17 ·         October 28-31 ·         November 11-14 ·         December 2-5 ·         December 16-19
