The Pender County Museum is housed in the first brick house ever built in Burgaw (circa 1917) known as the Burton-Noel. In 1979, the house was donated to the Pender County Historical Society in memory of Kate Buck Noel by her daughters.

The Historical Society restored the house and dedicated the new museum in 1982. Step inside and step back into the past among numerous displays of artifacts associated with the town's history, located at 200 W Bridgers Street, Burgaw, NC
