Volleyball has been steadily gaining popularity in the United States. East Coast Volleyball Academy in Wilmington, NC is able to provide players with the opportunity to join different travel teams. This past weekend, several of ECVA's 13u teams traveled to Fayetteville to play against other teams from across North Carolina. ECVA's 13u Blue team started out playing games at 9am. After starting out rough and taking several defeats, the team came back strong after their lunch break and managed to fight tooth and nail to get to the semifinals and eventually advance to the finals where they would end up playing another ECVA team. After 10 hours of playing volleyball, the 13u Blue team and White team both played their hearts out in the final game, leaving it all on the court. Congratulations to the Blue team for taking home gold and the White team for taking home silver!
