Pender County Resident of 30 years
Married 35 years, 3 kids, 6 grandkids
Self employed 29 Years finish construction and cabinet installation and design.
State Highschool basketball referee 33 years
NCAA basketball referee 23 years
Eastern basketball officials Association Board member and clinic leader 8 years
2. If you are an incumbent, what have been your greatest accomplishments for the community while in office? If you are not an incumbent, what inspired you to run for this office and what changes would you make?
Continue and improve the progress and work of our current commissioners. I would like to change how overdevelopment progresses and needs to slow down and spread out and allow infrastructure to be done on the front end and not trying to make up for it on the back end.
Increase efforts to plan earlier and acquire land for schools and allow school size to be large enough for future students to keep cost down from building too many schools.
3. Please name 3 goals you would work to complete during your term if elected.
Work with the state to lower taxes, improve roads, and eliminate property tax after the age of 65 on primary residence.
