Hailing from Surf City, NC, Crooked Parker delivers a fresh surge of alternative rock infused with the emotional grit of Sheryl Crow, the raw honesty of Miley Cyrus, and the unapologetic edge of Alanis Morissette.

‘Neworld.’ her debut full-length album, is an eleven-track sonic journey built on high energy and emotional intensity. From driving guitar riffs to expressive, powerhouse vocals, the album carries momentum through every verse and chorus—blending power with vulnerability in a way that feels both immediate and immersive. The result is a record that surprises, unsettles, and ultimately enchants.

The album opens with the hard-hitting track, ‘Tumbleweed,’ pulling listeners in with urgency and confidence. As ‘Neworld’ unfolds, Crooked Parker fearlessly shifts gears—moving from atmospheric alternative rock into unexpected moments of dance, sensual jazz textures, and smooth progressive grooves—keeping listeners engaged and off-balance in the best way.

A standout track, Surf City, pays homage to Crooked Parker’s adopted hometown. The song blends laid-back, feel-good vibes reminiscent of sun-warmed skin and ocean breezes, capturing the unmistakable sense of calm and belonging felt when crossing the Surf City bridge. It’s a track steeped in the quiet zen of coming home.

Crooked Parker’s creative process is intentionally three-fold: ideas are first captured organically on a phone, shaped into demos in GarageBand, and then elevated through AI-assisted production. This innovative approach refines the sound while preserving the authenticity, grit, and emotional honesty of the original recordings—perfectly aligning with her ethos of innovation without compromise.

Entirely original, ‘Neworld’ features lyrics and music written by Crooked Parker and positions her as one to watch as she continues to push creative boundaries.
