Coastal Common Sense

There is a crucial election coming up November 5th. The stakes are high and the question on the ballot is which direction will our country go - left to big government and higher taxes OR right to less government and more individual freedom?

The Progressive Left is not shy about their liberal agenda, even though their candidate for President is reluctant to discuss her specific advocacy in public. They are no longer JFK's party of the working class. Rather, now they are the party of elites in Silicon Valley, Wall Street and the Deep State coming together to make our daily decisions for us since they think we are too stupid to manage our own lives.

The Left advocates infant abortion, child castration, border invasion, equity inclusion and opponent assassination all in the name of some new found joy to the world. The propaganda machine of the complicit liberal media is being controlled by the Obama Cabal which is the shadow government puppet master of this zombie parade on the Left.

A vote for the Democrat candidates is a vote for the endorsement of this radical Left agenda. Their top of the ballot was baptized by the media from dingbat to Wonder Woman in a couple weeks without a single vote by anybody in their party. It was a rubber stamp elite selection, not a popular demand primary election. And if they win in November, that's exactly how they intend to harshly rule our country by weaponizing the government against we the people.

By contrast, conservative Republican candidates represent the heart of the common sense American dream believing in the traditional values of faith, family and country. We the people want small government to abide by the rule of law as proclaimed in the U.S. Constitution. A conservative vote endorses a robust laissez-faire economy, defend police in safe cities, a closed border, civic education school choice, low taxes, free and fair elections and transparent government with God back in charge.

Conservative Americans don't want to be told to shut up and get in line. They only want government to fix the roads and put criminals in jail. They don't want some pinhead bureaucrat telling them what kind of car to drive, what dishwasher to buy or when to water the lawn. The party of the forgotten man is now the party of the people and they want to put America first.

The right to vote is the only thing that separates us from third world banana republic dictatorships. You can go online to www.vote.org, vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/ or Pender County Board of Elections to determine your voting status and register to vote. Dates to remember: September 6 - absentee mail ballots go out, October 11 - voter registration deadline, October 17 - early voting begins, October 29 - absentee ballot request deadline, November 2 - early voting ends 3:00pm, November 5 - Election Day opens 6:30am closes 7:30pm. Same day registration is only available during Early Voting.

This is not a superficial Middle School popularity contest for class president. The future of America hangs in the balance. Vote early, in person and bring your family and friends. The choice is clear. Vote on the right side of history and make America great again.
